Happy labor day! Sophia is enjoying her new toy, mostly by eating it.
Pop pop, Dorothy and Grandma Cathy came over for a Labor Day BBQ.
Sophia is concentrating hard while playing with her new old piano from Grandma.
Tuesday was a day of fun play at home. Luckily, she never gets sick of playing with the same toys over and over again..
On Wed., we went to a music class demo. Janelle and Jen were there.
Sophie kept taking more and more egg rattles out of the basket.
More playtime at home.
Eating is so much fun, and a lot of work! Sophia likes to grab the spoon and use her hands to get the food off the spoon and into her mouth. On Thurs., I decided that instead of ruining more clothes with sweet potato stains, Sophia should just eat wearing only her diaper. .. and then straight to the bath before bed. This works, except she is very slippery on the way to the bathtub.
On Friday, we went to have lunch with my former boss, Ivy. Sophia did great at the restaurant after having napped just before.
On Sat, we went to Grammy's old house to take some pictures prior to it being sold. Grammy's neighbor, Carla, met Sophia for the first time and gave her a beautiful step stool, thanks!
Lots of love and memories in this house...we will never forget your joyful spirit, and sassy-ness which has been passed down to Da Sophie Boo..
In the afternoon, we went to a BBQ at John and Roxanne's and left just before the rain got insane.
On Sunday, we played after church and Sophia giggled like there was something really funny going on. Luckily, I don't have to do much to make her happy :)
Eating squash for the first time, yummy!!!!Hopefully one day she will let me hold the spoon and I can aim it better.
