Week 29: Fall activities begin

Sophia on her way to swim lessons on Monday...hiding from the Paparazzi. She was the youngest one in class, but it was fun. We blew bubbles in the water and she floated on her back.

My name's Madeline Rose and I like to dance on my toes...Ana came up with this song for Maddie and it has been stuck in my head ever since..

The Bethel mom's group started up again and it is quite a different experience in the 6 month - 1yr group. The babies are all crawling around and all the questions are about solid food.

"I'm gonna getcha Riley, that is if I can catch you..."
We had a great time at Gymboree! We will probably sign up in November after the other classes stop.

Pike, Riley, Sydney and Olivia at Gymboree. The mats were the highlight of the day and this ball where we played baby soccer.

Sophia is concentrating hard on crawling up this ramp, but getting nowhere. She was much more interested in the scary clown behind me.

She finally got her hands on the scary clown and started eating him.

Oh bubbles...the simple things in life.

Play play play. All day.

Sophia on her first day of school, music class that is.. we were the first ones there. This will probably be the only time we are early. Sophia has been doing this really girly "hello wave."

Yeah. Happy girl is rolling all over the place. I have to block her in to an area with pillows.

Doing leg lifts?

I mashed up some avocado for Sophia and she enjoyed putting it all over her face and by the end of the week she actually ate some of it.

Nick's first tomato. It cost about $15 with all the labor involved in growing it.

Mommies night out in Bethel was lots of fun. Yes, you all elected a Republican for President...

Playgroup at Jodi's this week was fun. She had all these extra places for the baby to sleep- after kicking the cat out of the pack-n-play.. Sophia napped for 2 hrs which is better than she does at home. I even got to use her treadmill and then take a shower (after removing the comforter from the bathtub where Jodi tried to hide out and sleep the night before).

Straining to see the tv...Daddy gives in and lets her watch. .

Sophia has a love hate relationship with her Ocean's aquarium. She has been kicking it until it falls off the side of the crib, yet she cries when it isn't on...

On Sunday, Sophia had her first (successful) breakfast, bananas.
She loved them!

Still loves this toy and can take the rings off the pole, but not put them back on yet.
