Week 30: First pumpkin patch, pears & apples

Mom's group was entertaining this week. The babies are all interacting. Maddie is telling secrets and Pike is trying to eat Riley's shirt...

Toys are being shared with each other and sometimes stolen from one another. The best toy is the one someone else is holding. Pike seems to be flirting with two babes.. now that Will is away on Mondays, it is just him and the ladies..

Such personalities! It is so much fun to watch these babies in action (and the mom's too). Ali and Layla are back from Greece - let's do yoga!

Maddie's got another secret for Sophia.. no it was a trick, she wanted her toy.

Sophia is still upset about the attack on her toy from "Maddie Rose on her toes" and decides to fight back with some karate.

Jodi is a pro at taking care of her twins. We usually give her a 3rd baby to watch during group- she's that good!

I'm going bananas trying to feed this kiddo breakfast. She has refused it every day this week. Instead she eats one huge meal at dinnertime -- a jar and a half of veggies/ fruit and 3 bowls of cereal. Wow!

Sophia enjoys playing with the top of her block set much more than the blocks themselves.

A ball. It's not "the ball," but she loves to hold it and let go and then fall down trying to get it.

Just when I start to put the summer clothes away, it is hot again! So I keep layers with us wherever we go.

Learning to love carrots, just like her Dad. haha.

Peek-a-boo. Who knew soft cozy blankets were so much fun!

Playgroup was at Leah's house on Friday. Noa was dressed to impress in her tutu - Pike seemed to like it! Maddie always has secrets for Sophia.

Sophia "a salted" Layla by grabbing her hair and then started laughing. I think she is jealous of her luxurious long hair.

Sophia tried to pull Sydney's hair too and thought it was pretty funny. I am going to start having to give her time outs soon!

By the end of our playgroup, Sophia was deliriously giggly, which we all know leads to a meltdown.. we left soon after.

Yummy, pears! Sophia starts every meal with this face. She pretends she hates it and gags and grimaces, but then 30 seconds later she gobbles it up.

We had a block party on Saturday. Sophie made a brief appearance with her pink nose (perhaps because it was cold??). We turned the heat on that night..summer is definitely over.

Ready for church and still happy despite skipping her morning nap.

Sophie at the church's pumpkin patch. Still happy, but not for long.....

Meltdown!..Does she hate pumpkins or is it overtiredness? She tried hard to keep it together for one picture.

Her first taste of apples was a big hit.

Hey Chuck, stop advertising your business on my blog!
Just kidding.. thanks for the farm fresh veggies and helping us say farewell to Dexter's for the season.
