Week 19: Tripoding & First Family Vacation

On Monday, we went to baby and me yoga and had a playdate at Melanie's house with Janelle and the babies.

On Tuesday, Kerrie, Sophia and I visited Shawn's new baby, Alexander George, born on father's day.. what a cutie!

We had baby gymnastics on Wed with Amy and Janelle - although it was fun for a day, we decided to try it again when the babies are older. We learned how to do a forward roll and blow bubbles on the babies, which we can do at home now!

This week Sophia learned to tripod - sit for a few seconds with her hands supporting her.

Sophia waving hi.

Happy Fourth of July! We celebrated the holiday at a party at Jen and Ken's house.

Another baby was at the party and she is 6 months old. The mommies had been pregnant together at the last halloween party.

I met up with Amy and Janelle for the parade on Saturday before leaving for Mohonk. The parade was not all that exciting, but it was fun to get together...

Hello Great Grandma Ginny! Sophia met her for the first time on Sat. at our family vacation to Mohonk Mountain.

Sophia had a friend, James, on vacation exactly one month older.

Sophie boo remembers her cozy blanket when her Daddy used to burrito wrap her up!

Sophia is happy because this week we took a break from sleep training and allowed her to stay up late and go down already asleep to avoid crying in the hotel. Will the party girl ever get back to her 7pm bedtime?

We took Sophia up the mountain to the tower- what a good hike that was! Here are some family portraits - Grandma, Aunt Kristin and her boyfriend Rene.

All the Great Grandchildren together with Great Grandma Ginny and Bill.

Caitlin, Ryan, Michael, Julie, Kelsi and Kara. Everyone's eyes are open!

Everyone watching as Billy is dialed in via internet from Vietnam to wish Bill a happy 85th birthday. And Happy Birthday to Denny as well!
