Week 20: More Mohonk & Eating Feet

We did lots of walking while at Mohonk Mountain. Here we are at the top of the mountain, enjoying the views.

Our family's Happy hour was from 5-7pm, which can be Sophia's unhappy hour (except for when she is in the Daddy hold).

Vacation tummy time on Daddy is so much more fun!

We had a chance to go in the pool after my poolates class. It was a little chilly, but Sophia did great and then snuggled up in her robe.

Kara and Kelsi playing with Sophia at happy hour.

We spent time playing "Supergirl"...

... and just relaxing.

On Wed, Karla and Cole arrived with their friend Lee and it was time for Nick and I to depart. Nick had to work, but I decided to come back the next day.

Back to Mohonk on Thursday...The granary is our favorite lunch spot since we get to sit outside and enjoy the day, and eat BBQ ribs! The food was wonderful at Mohonk and we all pigged out daily.

We noticed Sophia's feet were all wet and thought she was sweating, but then we caught her foot in her mouth. Grandma is imitating her to try and get her to do it again for the camera..

Super yoga girl had so much fun playing with great aunt Denny.

The view from the walking trails was amazing and Sophia had a ball.

On Friday, Denny arranged for us all to go on a horse carriage ride and picnic in a gazebo on the side of the mountain. Sophia woke up on the carriage ride and was a little nervous, but she calmed down.

The view from the picnic area was amazing.

Resting after a long day...

The lake beach in the afternoon was nice and shady, so we went for a quick dip.

Karla and Sophia at happy hour.

Sophia enjoying our morning walk ..

...and afternoon stop at the beach with Grandma.

All the young people (32 and under) on our last night. Grandma gave her annual speech and Bill thanked those that made the trip. Thank you Grandma and Bill for a wonderful vacation!

Sunday was our last day of vacation and we took a walk up to the top of the mountain and then to the lily pond.

It is so hard to say good-bye when we are having so much fun!
So long until next year... when Sophia will be walking and talking?!?
