No longer serious... Just loving the new fall hat!
Sophia has been teething all week (actually for months). Here at Mother Goose story time she won't put down her keys...
even for a scarf, which is her new favorite thing in the whole world..
Are you done yet? How many pictures are you going to take?
We had a very interesting demo music class with another opera singer. Sophie was a little fussy and serious in the beginning of class. She doesn't seem to like the big drum in the middle of the room.
By the end of class, she was happy again, playing and holding hands with her friend Layla.
I think this is a real conversation. Wait, where are you going?

"I am done. I can't hear anymore after that music class."

Sophia can roll over her boppy pillow now, so I have to make the wall of pillows even higher. She had been up all night congested with her first cold, so sad. But she was feeling a lot better the next day.

Nick was home this week planning for the golf tournament. After an exhausting morning on Wed and Sophia getting fussy, we all needed a tv break. It immediately calmed her down.
We arrived to set up for the golf tourney at 6:30am. Many thanks to my mom who came to help with Sophia, and Emily who was a super volunteer! The day started chilly and rainy, but ended up being a beautiful day with great food, fun and of course golf.
Sophia rolls over when I change her now, which makes getting dressed really interesting. Putting on a diaper backwards is lots of fun! Sophie had on her new leg warmers, though by mid-day it was about 70 degrees.
Sophia's friends, Rylee and Leah, came to play all dressed in their golf attire. Thanks mommies for making the trip all the way to Stamford. We put a tablecloth on the floor and had a mini playdate of course!
Sophie recruited her family to play golf- here is Nick's cousin Casey and my Dad. Sophia liked her first taste of mango for breakfast!
Sophia had fun with her Grandpa who stayed overnight.
The next day we went to visit Great Grandma Nell and she took a ride in the walker.
Grandpa's toes are so fun and yummy! Great Grandma's commentary is spot on.
Sophie had her first Adam Broderick experience on Saturday when I went to get my hair done. This was the first of many visits for mommy daughter day I am sure. Childcare had many fun toys including these huge stuffed animals that worked well propping her up.
We were home the rest of the day while Nick went to a bachelor party. Girls know how to party too- we brought out all the toys! Nick was in his cousin Bobby's wedding on Sunday. Thanks to my mom for watching Sophia while we had a night out. She didn't take much from the bottle while I was out, oh well.. Only 4 more months and she will be on whole milk. Wow, how the time flies.

Keri,
I absolutely love and look forward to seeing the Sophie Boo each week. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love seeing the photos of her grow. She is just sooo cute that when I see the pix I get teary-eyed and smile all at the same time. I just want to eat her up. I can't wait until the day I get to meet her in person!!
Love,
Jennifer
